Minister of Interior Sandër Lleshaj said in a TV interview last evening that the Albanian authorities are at work to prepare the best scheme for the easing of restrictive measures but much will depend on the COVID-19’s spreading curve in the coming days.

He said that the country’s borders will remain closed until 15 June and only after that date there will be a decision on their reopening. He said that the interest was great to open the borders in view of the forthcoming tourist season but this interest was offset by the need to protect the citizens’ lives and health.
