Austrian Ambassador: Current crisis is deeper than previous ones

Austrian Ambassador Johann Sattler said on Thursday that the current political crisis in Albania was deeper than previous occasions and that it should serve Albanians for reflection.

Speaking from Shkodra, he condemned the recent damages caused to the “Shejnaze Juka” High School, where a Commissions of Election Administration Zones was situated, saying no person with a democratic mindset would engage in destruction.

The Ambassador added that elections should resolve the crisis in democratic countries, but in Albania, the contrary happened. He called on leaders of political parties to sit for dialogue, adding that internationals were ready to help if needed.
