DJB Movement Proposes Law on Kosovo Mirroring Model Between the Faroe Islands

It is Enough (DJB) Movement, represented in Serbian Parliament, proposed a Law on Kosovo – modeled on the deal between Denmark and Faroe Islands, Belgrade-based electronic media reported on Thursday.

DJB MPs have sent the Proposal of Law on Kosovo to the Parliament’s procedure, for which they claimed was in accordance with Serbian Constitution, international law and UN Security Council Resolution 1244.

They proposed a resolution of relations between Denmark and Faroe Islands – which claimed they were an independent state, while Denmark saw them as their own local self-government, as a model.

DJB believed that in this way, Serbia could put Kosovo under its constitution-legal order without making changes in Constitution, with following Resolution 1244, even without the consent of Kosovo Albanians for it.
