DP establishes working group on electoral reform

The United Opposition has established its own working group on the electoral reform that is led by Democratic Party (DP) Secretary General Gazmend Bardhi. Bardhi told Top Channel TV that the opposition officials would not participate in today’s meeting of the ad hoc Parliamentary Committee on Electoral Reform.

He said that the ad hoc Parliamentary Committee on Electoral Reform is an illegitimate body that the DP did not recognize. He also said that the United Opposition’s working group on electoral reform is expected to meet today right when the ad hoc Parliamentary Committee will be in session.
