DP reacts to ‘fake SMS’ read at Prime Minister’s last

The Democratic Party (DP) reacted this morning to what they said was a fabricated SMS read last evening during a TV interview Prime Minister Edi Rama was giving to Top Channel TV. The SMS allegedly carried a question for Rama from DP Chair Lulzim Basha. “This unlawfully crafted” SMS was dispelled by the DP as a shameful act of those who are allegedly trying to hide their mismanagement of the COVID-19 crisis. The DP called on the authorized bodies to shed light into this criminal scandal, apprehend its perpetrators and bring them to justice.

 “Edi Rama should immediately stop his dirty games and political infighting through fake SMSs and stale propaganda targeting the opposition. Our appeal for him is: Approve urgently the DP-proposed aid package! Stop political attacks and start doing the job for which you are paid,” the DP said in a press statement.
