NATO membership, Erdogan announces talks with Finland

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has announced that he will speak with Finland tomorrow regarding its application for NATO membership.

The Guardian reports that the Turkish president told the media that he had discussed the issue with Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte. Erdogan added that he will talk to Great Britain tomorrow, without specifying which representatives he would talk to.

Erdogan spoke out against Finland and Sweden's decision to join NATO. He stated that he would accept and reject the application of both countries.
