Refugees in Albania, Elon Musk goes against the Court of Rome: The judges must leave
Elon Musk , one of the richest people in the world, criticized the decision of Rome judges not to confirm the detention of a second group of immigrants sent to the camps in Albania.
The seven migrants, who are citizens of Egypt and Bangladesh, were brought to the Italian port of Brindisi on Tuesday.
The court failed to uphold the detention of 12 migrants who were part of the first group sent to Albania under the government's controversial agreement to run migrant centers on Albanian territory.
"These judges need to go," Tesla owner Musk said via X in a user's post on the news of the suspension of the ban on seven immigrants.
Musk was a big supporter of Donald Trump's successful US presidential campaign and he looks set to hold a powerful position in the new administration.
