Trump strips former President Biden of classified information: You don't

United States President Donald Trump has revoked former Vice President Joe Biden's security clearance and access to classified information, after his predecessor did the same to him four years ago, according to the BBC.

"There is no need for Joe Biden to continue to have access to classified information," Trump wrote in a post on his "Social Truth" platform.

"JOE, YOU'RE FIRED," Trump added in capital letters.

The president has already revoked the security clearance of many former Secret Service officials, whom he accused of interfering in the 2020 election in favor of Biden.

Trump tweeted Friday evening that Biden “set this precedent in 2021, when he directed the Intelligence Community to bar the 45th President of the United States from accessing National Security details, a courtesy extended to former presidents.”

He said Biden "couldn't be trusted with sensitive information," citing a Justice Department investigation into the Democrat's withholding of secret files, which concluded that while there was no need to file criminal charges, Biden had a poor memory.
