The initiative "abandoned" by the internationals, Rama continues to defend: the Open Balkans in accordance with the EU
Prime Minister Edi Rama once again defended the "Open Balkans", the initiative that is not finding international support.
The latter require the full involvement of all states in order to support it, a condition that is not fulfilled since three states (Kosovo, Bosnia and Montenegro) refuse to participate.
In a statement after the end of the government meeting, Rama said: Open Balkan is an initiative in full compliance 100% with the spirit and letter of the EU. It is the result of the Berlin process.
We have signed those documents that were previously signed in the Open Balkans. We have no reason to change our opinion about the Open Balkans, maybe it is their right to change their opinion about the Open Balkans.
