Clashes with the opposition, Balla: The time for debates and quarrels is over
The head of the parliamentary group of the Socialist Party, Taulant Balla commented on the removal of the opposition from the parliamentary session, after the debates on the agenda and the composition of the parliamentary committees.
Balla said that today's event should not be repeated because according to him the time for debates and quarrels is over.
"I do not hide my regret for the lack of reason to leave a session which, as defined in the regulations, is a full agreement session. The spirit of Articles 21/21 clearly states that in this session we can not debate with each other. The principle that a deputy has in a commission is followed. What I proposed was to leave more time and space to the SMI deputies, to nominate those committee members as well.
I hope and believe that this event today will not be repeated in the next sessions. The time for debate and strife is over. We have an important mandate to move forward. We can find no reason to debate or leave the plenary session. Our wish was for the commissions to start working immediately. We were informed that we will have two more parliamentary groups, and it falls to us to be a draw in the Conference of Presidents ", said Balla
