Today, Rama gathers the new presidency of the SP! Focus, organization for parliamentary elections

The head of the SP, Edi Rama, gathered today the new leadership of the party, which was voted the day before.

It is learned that this meeting is held to start the organization for the upcoming parliamentary elections, which are expected to be held in the spring of next year.

We recall that a day ago the National Assembly of the SP chose the members of the new leadership of the party, as well as the composition of the secretariat, among the names proposed by Prime Minister Edi Rama.

At the end of the voting process, the general secretary, Blendi Klosi, who was re-elected to this position, announced the new composition of the highest forum.

Names like Olta Xhaçka, Mimi Kodheli, Blerina Gjylameti, Ditmir Bushati, Ilir Beqaj, who is in prison, and Armando Subashi, have remained outside the leadership of the SP.

Among the names that failed to win even though they were proposed by the socialist leader Rama are Delina Ibrahimaj and Klotilda Bushka from the women, Vangjel Tavo and Pirro Vengu from the men.

Based on the statute, all party secretaries and district political leaders will be part of the new presidency. The general secretary of the SP, Blendi Klosi, announced the names of the new leadership of the SP, which consists of 5 men and 5 women.

They are: Albana Koçiu, Anila Denaj, Etilda Gjonaj, Klodiana Spahiu, Lindita Nikolla, Arben Pëllumbi, Erion Braçe, Eduart Shalsi, Igli Hasani, Toni Gogu.

The assembly has voted for the new presidency that will consist of 10 names. For voting, the prime minister proposed 14 names, 7 women and 7 men. While he left out names like Olta Xhaçka, Mimi Kodheli, Blerina Gjylameti, Ditmir Bushati, Ilir Beqaj and Armando Subashi. Delina Ibrahimaj, Minister of State for Entrepreneurship and Business Climate, and Klotilda Bushka, head of the Laws Commission, did not win. Vangjel Tavo won Himara, but he failed to get the votes of the socialists for the presidency of the SP, as well as the new Minister of Defense, Pirro Vengu, failed.
