Berisha: Every elderly person today receives at least 30% less pension than in

The head of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has denounced the last draft budget presented to the parliament, describing it as "the budget of the biggest theft in history".

He invited the public to reflect on the government's spending, emphasizing that out of 57 billion euros of budgets since 2014, only 7.5 billion euros have been used to pay the salaries of Albanians.

Berisha:  Dear friends!
These days, the draft budget came to the parliament, I declared and I declare, that this is the budget of the biggest theft in history. Whoever does not believe this, I invite him to ask himself a question; what happened to 57 billion euros of budgets from 2014 until today.
I tell Albanian citizens that, out of these 57 billion euros, only 7.5 billion euros are the 10-year salary payments of Albanians.
What happened to 50 billion euros?
Dear friends!
With 50 billion euros, with the tip of the pencil, with absolute truth, I guarantee every Albanian that if it had been defined as a principle, that the budget belongs to the citizens and not to the governors, today in the Republic of Albania there could never be a pension of 300 euros .
Today in the Republic of Albania, there would never be a minimum wage of 500 euros.
Today in Albania there would never be an average salary of 1200 euros.
But what happened, what happened, friends?
With all 57 billion euros, taxes of Albanian citizens, Albanian businessmen, their taxes, pensions did not increase a penny.
They were indexed at the rate of 27%, while only to be indexed according to the increase in prices, they should have increased by 52%. So friends, every pensioner today receives at least 30% less than in 2013.
