The leader of the Democrats, Sali Berisha, has declared that he will keep every promise made so far.

From Elbasan, Berisha said that the first 3 months will set the living minimum at 200 euros.

Berisha: My friends, we who remember 34 years ago know very well that Albania today is 34 times different. But, if we stop, what do we have today? There are some undeniable similarities.

The first major similarity is that just like the dictator and his elite, Edi Rama and his criminal organization are definitively disconnected from Albanian citizens.

They have no connection with the Democrats, the Socialists, or those without a party. He plows the land with a plow, Edi Rama travels by private charter. He has no roof, Edi Rama buys an ivory tower vase and places it in the yard and wishes them a Happy New Year. He gets 70 euros, Edi Rama gets 50 times his.

So, friends, these people have created a terrible gap with citizens, regardless of their beliefs.

It is our duty to sit down with each one because we truly have a program, we have a commitment, we have a contract to sign with each Albanian.

To start first where the sirens of hunger, poverty, and misery wail.

My friends, what happened in these 10 years? In these 10 years, 1 million and 99 thousand Albanians left Albania for the EU. They left poverty and destitution. Because every year Albanians fell lower and lower with their salaries and pensions.

Because pensioners today in Albania receive a pension of 160-170 euros, a Montenegrin who does not have even a tenth of Albania's assets, receives a pension of 450 euros. A Macedonian receives a pension of 280 euros. A Serbian receives a pension of 330 euros.

But why? We were before them, what happens? There is no government in the world that originates from votes that does not return the money it collects to the citizens. That does not put them first.

In addition to this government, which has created terrible mechanisms to embezzle billions. A famous lawyer once told me, he met the Prime Minister of Albania. I asked him, how did he feel. His problem is this, he told me, as a lawyer I had several billionaire clients, but none of them hesitated to steal another billion, because they can't get enough. Such is the story of Edi Rama. Such is the story of these ministers.

Now they say where will he find the money?

My friends, every promise I have made here and will make everywhere, I guarantee you that I will keep it 100 percent. That in the first 3 months, among the first decisions, the living minimum of 200 euros will be established. This means that 57 percent of pensioners, who receive a partial pension, will receive 200 euros. This means that every Albanian pensioner with a full pension of 170 euros and below will receive 200 euros. This means that every Albanian without a pension will receive 200 euros. This means that every unemployed person will receive 200 euros. This means that every Albanian with economic assistance will receive 200 euros.

This is the way to say stop to misery.

This is the way to give Albanians every day that salary that eliminates misery.

We will do this for the first 3 months.

Did you know? You certainly know that our citizens buy food at more expensive prices than in Italy or Germany.

Albanian citizens travel at the most expensive prices because their oil is more expensive than in Singapore.

We will not go into food prices, but we will give consumer cards to all those who earn minimum wage or below.

The consumer card is about 450 euros. That's about 3 pensions.

We will divide this income differently.

A terrifying gap has been created. Society is divided like never before in its history.

So, the pensioner will receive 3 additional pensions with the return of VAT.

There will be no minimum wage below 500 euros in Albania.
