Dear friends, the citizens of Kosovo voted yesterday in the general parliamentary elections for their representatives. The voting, the administration of the process and the outcome were an inspiring model.

In yesterday's elections, the Vetëvendosje Party received 41% of the vote, the Democratic Party of Kosovo received 22.16% of the vote, the Democratic League of Kosovo received 17.60% of the vote. The Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, Social Democratic Initiative, Conservatives and Intellectuals coalition received 7.46%, the Serbian List 4.43% and the Coalition for the Family 2.26%.

On this occasion, I warmly congratulate the citizens, political forces, leaders and elected officials of Kosovo, as well as the administrators of this dignified process, which honors the freedom of the vote and democracy. I also congratulate the winner of these elections, the Vetëvendosje Movement. sb
