The chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, declared that Prime Minister Edi Rama, after stealing the elections, did not stop there, but also held the leader of the opposition (Lulzim Bashan) hostage.

"He held the leader of the opposition hostage with a file. If he had information that Lulzim Basha received Russian money, he should have gone to the prosecutor's office, but he didn't, because in this way he targeted the leader of the opposition and took him hostage", said the leader of the DP, Sali Berisha, in an interview for "Ora e Beti" on Rtv Ora.

Berisha added that he called on him at every exit to show where he got the money.

"Lulzim Basha does not dare to mention either Edi Rama or McConigal. He has an obligation, he is a member of parliament, he was the leader of the opposition. He must tell Albanians the truth, but he can say that he was accused of money laundering and this accusation led him to prison for several years, Rama saved him. There was no investigation, no Albanian-American asked if you gave him this money or not. The other file was kept at the Embassy by Yuri Kim," said Berisha.
