DP Chairman Sali Berisha emphasized the role of young people in saving the Democratic Party and the Albanian opposition, describing them as the true force that can lead the country towards change.

He stated that the DP has decided to hand over the electoral campaign to young people, as they are the best messengers and the future leadership that will converse with every Albanian.

Berisha : In doctrine, sovereignty is external when an enemy invades and affects territorial integrity, but it is also internal.
This internal, we who have lived in dictatorships, have it as clear as daylight that in a dictatorship this does not exist because people are zero after one, their power, which should originate from them, ends up entirely in the hands of the dictator, and this attempt was made now, to transfer even that power that the sovereign gave to the opposition, to the government. A leader means to destroy with courage.
Never forget that a person is his psychology. That is what a person is.
And if you decide to destroy him, you are doing nothing more than a drunk driver who takes his life on the road. You do not destroy another person's psychology, you change another person's psychology. You change it with logic, with humanity, with respect, with conversations, with conversation, with dialogue.
And I expect from you, and this is one of the main reasons that the Democratic Party has decided to hand over the electoral campaign to you, there are no more excellent interlocutors than you.
You are the best messengers that can be sent today to every Albanian.
Therefore, in this aspect too, as leaders, you will approach every Albanian by confronting what you defend and what he wrongly shares.
No revolution, no dictatorship has been overthrown by anyone other than the youth.
Therefore, and closing this speech, because today you also have the distribution of diplomas, a solemn act of crowning this school, I invite you to move on to an epic battle, a battle that will save Albania from the worst dictatorship.
Europe has known Nazi dictatorships, Europe has known Stalinist dictatorships, it has known theocratic dictatorships in its past, but for the first time in its history Europe knows a dictatorship of drugs, crime and this is the dictatorship of Edi Rama.
Therefore, we must multiply our forces, our energy, our courage, to save Albania.
We saved the DP, you saved the DP, you saved the Albanian opposition.
Today Albanians have a true opposition because you stayed true to yourself, you stayed true to the truths you believe in.
Today, on May 11, Albanians must triumph over evil and restore the values of democracy.
