The vice-president of the Democratic Party, Luciano Boçi, at the same time the political coordinator for the Democratic Party in Shkodër, denied that the opposition has stopped its civil disobedience, stressing that it remains active in parliament and outside it, informing citizens about the misuse of public funds and the budget.

"The budget approved by the government was taken from the citizens through taxes, but it is not being invested properly. "The government is spending money on dubious projects, such as 30 million euros for one kilometer of road, while education remains at low levels," he told News24.

In relation to the issue of non-woman against the leader of the DP, Sali Berisha, Boçi has expressed his belief that this decision is unfair and that he will be withdrawn. He has compared this situation with the case of the new American president Donald Trump, stressing that, like Trump, the accusations against Berisha are unfounded.
