Democratic MPs have come together to approve the bill establishing the Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry for the 'McGonigal' scandal, where Prime Minister Rama's connections with the former FBI official are revealed.

The Democrats have started to collect the signatures for the establishment of the Commission. Even the deputies of the Freedom Party, Monika Kryemadhi, Pterit Vasili and Erisa Xixho have signed.

Today's session was accompanied by many debates where the opposition demanded the presence of Rama to talk about the 'McGonigal' scandal. Rama himself responded to the opposition on Twitter, excusing himself with the argument that there are no charges against him.

The majority closed the plenary session by voting on the draft laws in an accelerated procedure without the votes of the opposition.
