The head of the DP group, Gazment Bardhi, said that the reason for the day of the plenary session is banal. He said that if the reason why the hearing was held today is that the deputies will go to Germany for the start of Euro 2024, it is shameful.

Bardhi: First, today is Wednesday. And you have decided to treat it like your personal store. As the leader of the session, you must explain to the citizens why the plenary session has been decided from Thursday, which is a written rule, for Wednesday. You have the obligation because you made a unilateral decision without consulting the opposition. If that is the reason that has been published in the media, it is a shameful act and we distance ourselves from that banal reason that moves the Parliament of Albania.

Secondly, a group of DP members submitted a request for an urgent interpellation with Prime Minister Edi Rama related to public funds. According to the Constitution and the regulation, the request if signed by 7 deputies is included as the first point. We are familiar with a banal response of the Speaker of the Assembly that a request by the MPs to hold the Prime Minister accountable is considered an infringement of the Prime Minister's honor and dignity.
