File "5D", Kelliçi: Directors of Veliaj with 700 thousand lek

The political coordinator of the DP for Tirana, Belind Kelliçi, has raised some questions regarding corruption with the "5D" file in the Municipality of Tirana.

Invited to "Kafe Shqeto" on Syri TV, Kelliçi said how is it possible that the arrested directors of Veliaj work 8 hours in the office with a salary of 700 thousand lek per month and win tenders of 1.2 or 3 million euros.

Kelliçi said that the officials work in the state to guarantee that the money goes to the private person.

Belind Kelliçi, the DP political coordinator for Tirana, has raised some significant questions regarding the tentacles of corruption that have enveloped the municipality of Tirana, where five directors and the closest associates of the mayor Eriin Veliaj have already been arrested for the robbery of public funds.

"How is it possible for someone to go to work for the state, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. or 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., to be paid 700,000 old lek, here I am doing it and enjoy 800,000 old lek and in the meantime have businesses who make 1 million euros?!

So, how can you spend eight hours of the day in the official work of the state to be paid 700 euros per month and meanwhile during the year earn 1 million, 2 million, 3 million euros with public work tenders?! How can it?!

So, how can you spend eight hours of the day in the official work of the state to be paid 700 euros per month and meanwhile during the year earn 1 million, 2 million, 3 million euros with public work tenders?! How can it?!

The logic is quite simple: they go to the work of the state to guarantee that the state funds go to the private individuals that they opened themselves, to the companies that they opened themselves. That's why they need the influence in the state, that's why they need the office of the state official to go and put their hands in public procedures, to take the money and take it to their own businesses.

This type of theft model, for the sake of truth, has never been seen in Albania and Tirana. This is the first time we come across this kind of theft. It is unheard of, unheard of, unimagined!" , declared Kelliçi.
