The deputy of the Democratic Party, Agron Gjekmarkaj, disclosed the details of the meeting with the Chairman of the Commission for European Affairs, the parliamentarian of the German Bundestag, Gunther Krichbaum.

He said in the show 'Top Story' that the German official is in Albania with an exploratory mission for cooperation spaces in the Democratic Party.

Gjekmarkaj :  I don't know exactly who else Krichbaum met with. He is a senior representative of the Bundestag. I had a long conversation with him and realized that he is in Tirana with an exploratory mission and I realized that he is studying whether there are cooperation spaces. As he said, he wanted more of a political process than a solution in the Courts. As far as I understood, he sees Berisha in the past.

Gjekmarkaj, on the other hand, said that the Albanian people also have a great desire for the Democratic Party to be organized united and not divided.

Gjekmarkaj : We have talked a lot about the changes in DP, it doesn't seem like there are any big changes, but there is a desire of the people for the opposition to be organized and united.

If there is a will, everything is possible. Not that everyone will return, I have no regrets for the positions I have held for a year, but on the other hand, I see that people want to see us united in front of the government. There is a majority of people who go behind Berisha and this is a significant factor.
