The court declared the protester's arrest illegal, Castle: The government

The Tirana court declared the arrest of the protester on October 7 illegal, and ordered his immediate release from the cell.

Lawyer Adriana Kalaja, who represented the protester Klodian Bajrami, said that the latter remained in detention by political order of the government to intimidate citizens who support the opposition, despite Bajrami's complicated health condition.

The court of Tirana declared illegal the arrest by the police of the October 7 protester Klodian Bajrami, and ordered his immediate release from the cell. Lawyer Adriana Kalaja said that the black squads did not even approve the prosecution's request for house arrest, deciding to release the opposition protester without any security measure.

Kalaja claimed that keeping the protester in custody was not only illegal, but his health condition was not considered, as the lawyer considered the arrests as measures that the government uses to intimidate protesting citizens.

Meanwhile, earlier, the Tirana Court left in prison the protester Sokol Bushkolaj, arrested after the October 7 protest, with the claim that he had also broken the security measure of house arrest, related to a previous court decision. On Thursday, two other protesters, Xhevahir Rrushi and Gentian Tuga, were placed under house arrest at the request of the prosecution.
