Hysaj: The truth is simple, when elections are a farce, even

The Democratic Party's candidate for deputy from the open list in Durrës County, Jola Hysaj, has reacted through a post on social networks regarding the May 11 parliamentary elections.

Hysaj states that the truth of elections is simple, they are a farce and as a result, even victories under such conditions are joyless.

Jola Hysaj's post:

Instead of focusing on exposing the electoral farce, we waste time looking for the "culprit" within the opposition.

In a normal country, all the energy after a dubious election process would be focused on finding evidence, transparency, and investigating manipulation. But as always, instead of fighting the farce, the opposition is sought to be exiled.

What impresses me most is the lack of enthusiasm from the so-called “winners.” If you voted so much that you don't even have an official figure for turnout, how is it possible that instead of celebrating, the focus is on the internal problems of the Democratic Party?

This shows a lot: a victory that makes no one happy, a process that convinces no one, and a government that fears even the shadow of the opposition.

This is not democracy.

This is a farce that requires clarification, not distraction.
