Closing the 'door' to Basha in the DP, Berisha optimistic about May

Democratic Party leader Sali Berisha expressed confidence that he will win the elections of May 11, 2025.

Invited to Opinion, according to him, Rama no longer has a chance of victory and said that the prime minister has extinguished the Socialist Party.

"I can't accept what's not happening. I will win the elections. How can I lose the elections with a man who is, to put it mildly, universally hated by the citizens. Do you understand what kind of internal war they are waging with each other, the head of the organization and Rama involved with them. So, they have no chance of victory anymore.

There is a group of people who are deeply incriminated, but who will only be subject to a terrible legal burden for every violation. I am talking about ministers, government officials. The Socialist Party does not exist. The Socialist Party has disappeared, it has transformed. They will vote for me ," said Berisha.

Likewise, the DP leader stated that former DP leader Lulzim Basha has no chance of being included in the lists of candidates for MP in the upcoming elections.

"It's like saying I read that Taulant Balla is trying to get on the DP lists. It's like saying Taulant Balla ," Berisha said ironically.
