Candidate for mayor? Ori Nebijaj: In every kind of challenge I know I can do it
Moderator Ori Nebiaj ran under the PD logo in the April 25 elections, but failed to get the mandate of deputy even though she received 5599 preferential votes, much more than some of the candidates in the winning list of Tirana District.
Asked about the many votes she received, Nebijaj said that being on the ground every day, it was not easy to properly perceive which vote she would receive. She said the votes she received gave a strong message to all politics.
"There are a number of votes that are spirit and consent that you do not understand and no one can touch. There is a citizen vote that is not affected, and this is the vote that came to my candidacy, which was perceived as a new spirit. About 6 thousand votes are a lot when you are a single individual and do not have a proper structure, or someone to support you financially. I think that the votes I received gave a strong message for all politics " , said Ori Nebiaj in the show" Breaking ".
Asked if she thinks of running for mayor in Tirana, Nebijaj said that it is very soon, but promised that she will succeed in any kind of challenge.
"It's too soon to think about it. I have not yet closed this process. Tirana is the strongest and largest municipality, I believe that the Democratic Party has other more experienced names. Not that I do not consider myself to be now, as in any kind of challenge I know I can do it. Now I have made with myself some confirmations at work. "I am able to fulfill every commitment, but I think it is very soon and it is not even the moment to think about the next elections" , said Nebijaj.
