Consumer Card/ Berisha: Will return 450 euros to pensioners and low-wage

The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has promised pensioners and citizens who are paid low wages that they will be compensated with 450 euros through the consumer card.

Berisha: First, from these 8 billion, the first act, every Albanian will receive 200 euros, they will receive the living minimum.

Because you are political people, what does this mean? If the Albanian citizen receives 200 euros, by all world standards he is no longer in misery. In poverty yes, but not in misery. Misery disappears, there is no more extreme poverty.

And we will do this for the first 3 months. Not only that, but even more.

We pay for food, just like a pensioner who receives a 120 euro pension, with my salary, the MP's salary, or other salaries.

The pensioner will not get them at the same price. The one who is on a low salary will not get them at the same price, he will have a consumer card with which he will get back the VAT with 3 more pensions, or the equivalent of 450 euros.

Will we preserve society and its cohesion, or will we tear it apart with poverty and misery, and gaps? Of course we will preserve it.

A consumer card will be issued.

I want to remind you a little here, that out of 505 thousand pensioners with old-age pensions, 57% are on partial pensions, which means half pension, quarter pension. All of them 200 euros. Without exception.

The minimum wage will be set at 500 euros in the state and private sector for the first 3 months. We do not interfere with the private sector in payments, but we do interfere with the minimum wage. Because every country in the world interferes. In every country, the entrepreneur is obliged to pay a minimum for the working hour, the working week and the working month, and this minimum in Albania will initially be 500 euros. And I guarantee you that it will increase and this step will not stop until we come out on top of the Western Balkans in terms of salaries and pensions because we are the richest country.

Let's invite him again, let him talk to himself in the car, but let him come out and speak in front of the citizens, but he can't come out.

The next question, and I'm asking you right here. I'm not asking you where the 130 million euros from the incinerator are or where they disappeared to, because you were so scared. But we're only asking you about the problems of the citizens.

Why, sir, is the oil in Kosovo, which is received from the Port of Durres, transported to Pristina and sold 40% cheaper than in Albania, than in Lezha, than in Durres?

First, every Albanian pays for a liter of oil, those who do not have a car, and those who do not have a car pay, in the price of food, transportation, and other prices, they pay the government criminally 1.1 euros per liter of oil.

In the US, the market place, a liter of oil is sold for 1 dollar or 0.8 dollars. While this one taxes a liter with 1.1 euros. It taxes a liter of oil 3 times more than Macedonia, two and a half times more than Kosovo. This ends.

I'll give you another figure. On April 7, 2013, oil on the stock exchange cost 97 euros. On the market it was 1400 lek. On April 7, 2022, oil on the stock exchange was 97.2 euros, on the market 2280 lek.

Another factor is government oil smuggling.

Dear friends, let Rama come and tell the citizens, tell you how it is possible, Albania with 870 thousand vehicles registered this year. Kosovo with 440 thousand vehicles registered. Kosovo clears 630 thousand tons of oil, Albania clears 560 thousand tons of oil.

That Albania must clear customs of a minimum of 700 thousand tons of oil. The government does the smuggling. Oil cannot be smuggled by anyone other than the government. The government clears the oil tankers and shares all of this with the government officials.

So here's the money. Now he has understood and recites Belind Balluk from morning to dinner, but let him recite whoever he wants, I have the citizens' concerns. Excuse me, Lubi Balluk, Lubi Loti.
