The deputy of the Democratic Party, Jorida Tabaku, has made a denunciation regarding the recent actions of the government and the Municipality of Tirana to give two important public properties to the Albanian Investment Corporation (KISH), a structure that, according to her, was created with the purpose of misuse of public and private properties in the name of development.

Another accusation that Tabaku makes against the government is the complete lack of transparency. According to her, none of the decisions on the transfer of properties were made transparently or with public consultation. Tabaku points out that citizens have been left in the dark, and any project related to these properties has been kept secret.

However, the gluttony of such a government cannot end, so they have started working on projects with clear predatory goals, including the collection of any public property for the purpose of "exploitation". By more or less converting the state into a private entity, or rather by converting the government into the private property of a few individuals who do not report for the public good but simply take it with arrogance. This should have opened a broad debate about the way of governance, what does the state do and what should the private sector do? For the private public.

The investment corporation is the product of a controversial law, and I strongly denounced it years ago from every possible pulpit, as one of the custom laws that has never concealed its evil intent to abuse public property as if it were private property. private government. For none of these decisions and properties, no transparent public delivery process has been developed. The projects remain hidden and away from the eyes of the citizens. Transparency and accountability to the public are obligations, not options!
