Media: LaCivita asked the Trump administration if it should come to Tirana

Republican Party Chairman Fatmir Mediu has confirmed that US President Donald Trump's campaign strategist, Chris LaCivita, did not come to make a fuss or to have affairs.

According to Mediu, invited to News24, LaCivita is one of Trump's 3 closest people and his arrival in Tirana did not go without being certified by the US State Department.

"Saying that one of President Trump's 3 closest people comes here to curry favor with him or to have affairs, etc., is a bit naive if you believe it, but also evil if you do it on purpose.

I am convinced that when such an authority comes, who is in the inner circle, when he comes, moves and contacts, there is a certification that comes through the State Department.


That's all I know with my ignorance, having been around for about 25 years and speaking English, not Albanian, with those I've met.

"It often happens here that a photo with an embassy representative is more valuable than meeting a senior representative of the American administration or even Trump himself ," Mediu said.
