Pollo in Skopje: The "BalkanHapu" confusion needs to be opposed even

The "BalkanOpen" confusion needs to be opposed even more strongly by Macedonian and Serbian politicians and public actors, former democratic deputy Genc Pollo appealed in Skopje at a conference of the Pan-European Movement.

Pollo referred to the rejecting attitude of the European Parliament a week ago to this initiative, described by the Strasbourg resolution as non-European, as he participated as the chairman of the Albanian Paneuropa alongside the Austrian MEP Lukas Mandl, the Macedonian counterpart Andrej Lepavcov and the Secretary General of the International Paneuropa Pavo Barišić.

He also emphasized that it is unacceptable that the crowd of Serbs in Austria and elsewhere block the roads calling "death to the Albanians" just because Serbia was defeated by Switzerland in football.

The blame and responsibility lies with the Vucic regime with state propaganda based on ethnic hatred after they failed with ethnic cleansing two decades ago.

Pollo recalled that the European Parliament requested the termination of negotiations with Serbia until Belgrade adopted the anti-Putin sanctions of the European Union. He expressed that he hoped that the European Commission and EU member states would maintain the same attitude towards this almost Putin regime.
