SPAK with two standards, Malltezi: For buying votes, Beleri in prison, Bufi and

Jamarbër Malltezi brought an example of how SPAK operates with two standards for mayors.

In a post on Facebook, Malltezi made a comparison between Fredi Beler, the elected mayor of Himara, and two other mayors, Majlina Bufi from Roskovec and Edison Memolla from Rrogozhina.

Malltezi writes that for the same criminal offense, Beleri has been in prison for 17 months, while Bufi and Memolla continue to remain in office.

"For the same criminal offense - vote buying, Fredi Beleri has 17 months in prison, while Majlinda Bufi and Edison Memolla have 18 months in office that are "investigated" in the free state... (Textbook definition of political prisoner). Edison Memolla was allowed to run three times after he was registered by buying votes and the Ministry of Justice committed to take voters to the polling station in prison, a decision that was declared invalid by the Electoral College, but the minister is still in office." Malltezi writes.
