Tensions in the Kombinat market, Balliu: Here, they are selling drugs and no one

Traders from the Kombinat have clashed with Tirana Municipality officials, who are seeking to evict them from the premises where they have been selling fruit and vegetables for years. According to the traders, this action is unfair and is destroying their only source of livelihood.

The DP coordinator for the Tirana region, Klevis Balliu, reacted from the Kombinat market that the government wants to give the stalls to its people on the eve of the Elections. 

"Traders have been selling in this market for 30 years. This market is shrinking. On the eve of the elections, they give the stalls to their own people. If you continue like this, you will go to the directors. Leave the fools alone, no, they are selling onions and leeks. Drugs are being sold here and no one is saying anything ," said Balliu.
