"Shame, they eavesdropped on us", the debate is closed behind closed doors by the DP leadership, Basha: We are not a school to collect your mobile phones
A part of the closed-door debate by the DP Presidency held the day before is revealed.
At the helm the discussions were about who would do the result analysis for the political leaders themselves who were appointed a little over a month before the election.
According to the Panorama newspaper, under discussion members Albana Vokshi, Jorida Tabaku and Eno Bozdo raised concerns about the audio leaked to the media from the last meeting which was behind closed doors. Vokshi called this eavesdropping, while the leader of the Democrats replied that "we can not come here like at school to collect your cell phones".
Excerpts from the debate
Albana Vokshi: For the procedure, in the last meeting there was a shame. Someone recorded the audio discussions on the perpetrator and distributed them to the media. Someone eavesdropped on us at the meeting. It is unacceptable. No audio can be placed. They should not be done secretly. It is not that we are afraid of what we discuss, but we must be correct. If the press office deems that the meeting should be recorded, let them do so, but it is not normal for it to be a closed-door meeting with audio coming out of it.
Jorida Tabaku: It is not a problem that discussions come out, the problem is that they change and deform. Maybe the press office should launch some information on what each one discussed and it is more correct than coming out distorted.
Enno Bozdo: I also agree that no audio should come out of the presidency meeting at a time when the meeting is scheduled behind closed doors.
Lulzim Basha: These are not things to be discussed at the presidency meeting. We can't get here like at school to pick up your cell phones and put them somewhere and then take them back when the presidency meeting is over. You are political people here and you judge for yourself what you should talk about and how you should talk to them. So let's close this discussion here.
Recall that in the last meeting the National Coordinator for Energy in the DP, Eno Bozdo held a critical attitude to the model followed by the DP in recent years, which according to him led the party again to defeat and destined to remain in opposition for 12 years.
This position of Bozdo was made public after the media circulated an audio-tapping from the meeting, where Bozdo addressed President Basha that now is the moment of deep reflection and a conceptual analysis to understand the problems that brought the DP another failure.
He also spoke out against radical attitudes towards the non-recognition of the elections and the boycott of parliament again.
