MP Ina Zhupa, in a statement, spoke about the lawsuit filed against her by Mirel Mërtiri, one of the owners of Tirana's incinerators.
The lawsuit was filed because Mërtiri claims to have suffered psychological harm from the statements of the Democratic MP.
"He sued me for my statements as an MP regarding the non-existent Tirana incinerator. He claims he was insulted by my true statements. They want to silence us."
I wish and hope to see Mërtir in court today, he is coming here to be arrested. I don't know if he has sued SPAK and GJKKO because they are the same accusations against me.
"The trial will take place and I will always be present. I hope that Mërtiri will do the same ," she said.
