Veliaj puts his photo in the textbooks, DP: Ministry of Education to bear responsibility

The head of FRPD Besart Xhaferri has posted a video on Facebook, where in the textbooks of ‘Citizenship 3’, on page 33, the photo of the mayor Erion Veliaj at the Municipal Council meeting has been entered.

“He chose the subject of Citizenship 3, because of the complexes he has, where, as seen in the video on page 33, he inserted a photo of him at the meeting of the Municipal Council, whose powers he took to pave the way for the incinerator affair.

This is the same official who tried to impose Parent 1 and Parent 2 in nurseries and kindergartens and the same one who sends personalized letters to public schools, where children learn, that he and his gang are stealing their future with rampant corruption”, writes Xhaferri.

Furthermore, the head of the FRPS writes that the Ministry of Education should take responsibility for this scandal and come up with a public position and make transparency about the procedures that were followed by publication until the delivery of this book to the hands of the students.

In the PISA report on creative skills compiled in 2022 and published in 2024, Albanian students were ranked last in the world, as the lack of vision, corruption and nepotism have totally annihilated public education, where according to the figures of this government, 295 9-year schools have been closed in a decade and the number of students in rural areas has decreased by 40%

Despite this sad panorama with the education that today is producing functional illiterates, the Head of the 5D Gang Erion Veliaj, who wasted 55 million euros of education tax with his sect and who has left entire neighborhoods of Tirana without nurseries and public schools, he takes care to insert his photos into textbooks, as was done before the 1990s.
