The Chairman of the Central Election Commission, Ilirjan Celibashi, reacted today from Tirana's Olympic Park regarding a denunciation made by the Democratic Party for possible vote manipulation in CEAZ no. 40, through the phenomenon known as the "Bulgarian train".

According to the DP, ballots with obvious irregularities, including changes in the color of the ink, were found in this area, which do not match the official ballots distributed by the CEC. The party has submitted an official request to obtain video footage of the counting center, in order to verify the suspicions.

In a statement to the media, Celibashi confirmed that he has been informed about the denunciation and assured that the CEC will make the necessary materials, including the requested footage, available to all political entities.

"If this has happened, we are facing a criminal offense," said Celibashi. "It is time to have the focus we need, to give the deserved response to this case, if it is proven that the phenomenon of the 'Bulgarian train' existed, of inserting ballots from abroad and taking out the real ballots from the one who sponsored this thing."
