The Socialists reject Berisha's two amendments for the 2025 draft budget
The socialist majority has defeated with 72 votes against the two amendments of the leader of the DP Sali Berisha proposed in the Assembly.
Berisha proposed the suspension of PPPs until the vital minimum of 200 euros is established for each citizen.
Amendments proposed by Berisha:
1. Suspension of all procurements for luxury public investments of the central government, until the moment of approval by law of the financial measure of the vital minimum in the Republic of Albania.
2. Prohibition of any payment for luxury operating expenses of the central government, until the moment of the real increase in pensions.
