A serious incident was prevented in Shkodër.

A 27-year-old woman tried to jump from the Buna river together with her 4 minor children, namely: 7, 5, 3 and 1 years old. The police arrested the 27-year-old woman and accompanied her to the police station together with the children.

"The 27-year-old woman tried to jump into the Buna River, along with her 4 minor children, thanks to the quick intervention of the general patrol patrolling the area.

Immediately after receiving the notification, around 2:15 p.m., that a citizen was trying to jump into the Buna River, together with her 4 children, the Police services patrolling the area intervened, preventing the 27-year-old, who was trying to jump into the river, together with her 4 children aged 7, 5, 3 and 1.

The 27-year-old woman and her children were escorted to the premises of the Shkodër Police Station.

The investigative group continues its work to clarify the circumstances of the case ," the police announced.
