A 75-year-old man was rescued by police officers in Shkodra after he attempted to end his life by drowning in the Buna River.
Two officers have rescued a 75-year-old man who had jumped into the Buna River. The 75-year-old man stated that he wanted to drown himself due to personal problems.
"The General Patrol of the Shkodra Police Commissariat, while patrolling the territory, thanks to timely intervention, saved a citizen who jumped from the Buna River bridge to commit suicide.
"Police officers entered the Buna River and retrieved citizen B. G, 75 years old, sending him to the Shkodra Regional Hospital to receive the necessary medical assistance," the announcement states.
