A 55-year-old man, sentenced to 16 months in prison for "production and sale of narcotics" was caught by Berat police.
The citizen AZ was convicted by the court of Berat in March 2017, since in September 2015, during the "Pronoviku" operation, 9 kilograms of cannabis sativa were found and seized in this citizen's apartment.
"Narcotics Investigation Specialists arrested the AZ citizen, 55 years old, resident of Poliçan. The Court of Berat, with the decision dated 13.03.2017, sentenced this citizen to 1 year and 4 months of imprisonment for the criminal offense "Production and sale of narcotics", since in September 2015, during the operation "Pronoviku", in 9 kilograms of cannabis sativa were found and seized in this citizen's apartment," the police announced.
The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecution at the Court of First Instance of the Berat General Jurisdiction, for further actions.
