The employees of the Bank of Albania are armed, they buy 24 pistols!

Bank of Albania employees are armed. Governor Gent Sejko has opened a tender to buy stun guns, for a value of 56 million old lek. According to the documents available to BoldNews.al, the Bank of Albania has opened the national open tender.

"The Bank of Albania seeks to implement the procurement object 'purchase of 24 pieces of paralyzing gun equipment (electric shock) for the needs of the Bank of Albania'," says the announcement that the Bank made to the Public Procurement Agency.

But, unlike other state institutions that also publish additional documents, the Bank has not provided any information about who will use these pistols.

Being an institution of special importance, the Bank of Albania has several protection systems. Even employees or even visitors are checked several times before going to their destination.

However, the announcement of the purchase of pistols is very dry, with only the object and no other specifications. Information is given on how much the documents are paid for and no information is given on who will use them.

The employees of the Bank of Albania are armed, they buy 24 pistols!

Do these employees even have permission to use these weapons? The bank has several guards, from the State Police or other security forces, who have been operating for years. Will this group get the guns, or will the leaders keep them?

However, it is not excluded that the holders also carry such a weapon, given that they "know bank secrets".

Or they can be threatened! However, what is required in this case is a greater transparency of the Bank of Albania, not to tell us banking secrets, the storage of the treasury, of documents, but to tell us who will use these weapons. And if there is any criminal evidence, why don't you make it public?! Boldnews.al
