Veliaj's arrest, Lala: Ardit Gjoklaj, celebrate up there with the angels

Journalist Klodiana Lala has brought to attention the death of young Ardit Gjoklaj, following the arrest of Mayor Erion Veliaj. 

In a post on social media, Lala writes  "Ardit Gjoklaj, celebrate up there with the angels! Erjon Veliaj is not in prison for the murder of the tent, but for his own oppression."

Ardit Gjoklaj was working at the Sharra landfill with his brother when he lost his life in a collision with a dump truck, while he was working underage and without any life insurance.

Civil society and the opposition also blame the Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, for this serious incident, as he was the one who inaugurated this landfill a few months before the incident and guaranteed that the work would be carried out according to all standards.
