Four Albanian "hawks" are arrested in Greece

The Greek police have arrested four Albanian citizens and one Turk, as they are accused of being the authors of several robberies committed in the last year.

Local media write that in cooperation with each other, the band of thieves robs cars, businesses and jewelers.

More specifically, the members of the organization have committed the following criminal acts:

1. Vehicle theft in September 2023 in the area of ​​Melissia.
2. Theft of a jeweler in Poros Troizinia on 22.08.2023.
3. Theft at a jeweler in Poros Trizinias on 12.05.2023.
4. Theft at a jeweler in Delphi, Focis on 16.12.2023.
5. Theft at a jeweler in Delphi, Focis on 01.07.2024.
6. Theft of a car confiscated at the Salamis Police Station and setting the car on fire on 02-03-2024.
7. Attempted theft in a jeweler in Argostoli Kefalonia on 04.02.2024.
8. Attempted robbery at a jeweler in Argostoli, Kefalonia on 17.03.2024.
9. Attempted robbery at a jeweler in Argostoli Kefalonia on 04.01.2024.

It is reported that the arrested, with the case under their charge, have been sent to the Piraeus Criminal Prosecutor's Office for further action.
