Fredi Beleri, the MEP of the New Democracy, spoke to the Greek media where he said that his goal was to be sworn in as the mayor of Himara.

"Of course, I feel partially justified. My goal was to be sworn in as the mayor of Himara, but a new perspective opens before me ," said Beleri from Strasbourg.

Beleri expressed his sadness that "in 2024 there are countries that do not respect elections and elections and do not respect the will of the people".
