The Court of Appeal will give the decision today for the former Minister of Health, Ilir Beqaj, and the other accused who request a milder security measure.
The session will start at 13:00.
Beqaj is under investigation for corruption, concealment of wealth, fraud and violation of equality in tenders. Beqaj along with the other accused are suspected to have benefited from the weakness of SASPAC.
Through this agency, SPAK suspects that Beqaj, together with the coordinator Ermal Kurtulaj and five other people, abused the funds of the European Union by alienating their destination.
