Citizens' complaints, Nano message to police leaders: Alarming! Do not fall on deaf ears

The General Director of the State Police, Gladis Nano, addressed a message to the police leaders in the districts and departments.

In his message, Nano refers to the complaints and reactions of citizens on social networks that came after the tragedy in Himarë, where former officer Arjan Tase hit a 7-year-old girl to death with a speedboat.

Nano brings to attention the citizens' complaints about the behavior of the patrols and or the Shqiponja forces, and the Border Police. "Police officers who behave arrogantly with citizens, who do not follow the law but look at the interest of their pockets; police officers who do not know humanity at all, who do not tolerate (within the law) honest citizens but tolerate villains and traffickers", reads Nano's message.

While listing some other messages from citizens that have arrived at Nano's address, the General Director of Police considers it an alarming situation as he appeals to the leaders that these messages do not fall on deaf ears.

Hello, dear Manager

In recent days, as the General Director, I have received many comments from citizens about the work of the state police.

I have also closely followed most of the reactions of citizens on social networks.

Ignoring the political reactions, the complaints of the citizens and rightfully so, I have selected some of them that are very disturbing to me.

Citizens mostly complain about the behavior of Police officers, more about the road, patrols, eagles, border and criminal police.

Police officers who behave arrogantly with the citizens, who do not follow the law but look after the interest of their pockets, severely abusing their duties, and consequently we will have this citizen perception.

Police officers who do not know humanity at all, who do not tolerate (within the law) honest citizens, but tolerate villains and traffickers.

Shumë denoncime në rrjete sociale edhe për Policinë Kufitare, për marrje ryshfeti nga mjetet lundruese dhe për pasojë ndodhemi në këtë situatë sot.

Sjelle arrogante nga Patrullat e Përgjithshme dhe Shqiponjat, në shumicën e raste vetëm e vetëm për  të bërë presion e për të marrë ryshfet.

Mesazhe të ngjashme me dhjetëra qindra kanë ardhur e vijojnë të vijnë. Kjo është shumë shqetësuese shumë alarmante.

Një mesazh që s’duhet të bjerë në vesh të shurdhër:
