Police have provided details of the tragic accident on the Vlora bypass, where a 35-year-old man lost his life and three others were injured.

The injured are three passengers, foreign citizens, who have been transported to the hospital.

Meanwhile, the 2 drivers of the vehicles, citizens VR and AM, were escorted to the police station.

"Around 07:00, on the "Vlora-Orikum" road axis, in Radhima, the vehicle driven by citizen VR, 32 years old, collided with the vehicle driven by citizen FK, about 35 years old, and with the vehicle driven by citizen AM, 31 years old. After the collision, the vehicles were engulfed in flames.

As a result of the accident, citizen FK lost his life. Also, 3 passengers (foreign citizens) in the vehicle driven by citizen AM were injured and were transported to the hospital for medical assistance.

"The 2 drivers of the vehicles, citizens VR and AM, have been escorted to the Police Station for procedural actions. The investigation group is working to clarify the circumstances of the accident," the police announced.
