Dibër Regional Hospital director dismissed for raping finance chief

The director of the Dibër Regional Hospital, Irini Shehu, has been dismissed from her post after raping the hospital's chief of finance.

Astrit Ademi has been appointed in her place.

On February 11, the Director of Dibra Hospital was placed under investigation after she was suspected of hitting the head of Finance at this hospital in the face with a hard object.

" The citizen with the initials Sh.U., 37 years old, resident of Peshkopi, reported that after a verbal conflict in the hospital premises, he was hit in the face with a hard object by I.Sh., 44 years old, resident of Peshkopi, acting Director of the Dibër Regional Hospital.

At the conclusion of the first investigative actions, the Crime Investigation Specialists of the Dibër Police Commissariat referred the materials to the Prosecutor's Office where criminal proceedings were initiated against citizen I.Sh., suspected of having committed the criminal offense of "Intentional Minor Injury ", the police announced.
