New details have emerged from the investigations into the assassination recorded on the evening of January 12 at the "Palace of Stars" in Tirana, where 56-year-old Bujar Nasufi was executed.

Media sources indicate that the Police have not yet been able to identify the perpetrator, but preliminary investigations suspect that the incident may be related to property conflicts.

By examining the security cameras, investigators were able to determine that the perpetrator had started his journey from the Kombinat area towards Selita e Vogël, where he executed Bujar Nasufi. The police discovered that the killer had waited for more than 15 minutes in an alley near the victim's apartment, hidden and masked with a hood. He waited for the moment when the victim's wife got out of the car, and then attacked Bujar Nasufi with a short firearm (MP5).

Investigations indicate that the perpetrator may have had good knowledge of the area, as he avoided using the main roads and only used alternative lanes. Even after the crime, the murderer fled on a motorbike, using an alley very close to the scene of the crime, and then went to Kodër Sharrë, where he burned the motorbike. This action took place very close to the area from which the perpetrator started, in Kombinat.

A few days ago, the deceased's family members were questioned again to clarify possible conflicts the victim may have had. Investigations continue to fully unravel the incident.
