Another Albanian family has been evacuated from the Gaza Strip, the authorities announced.
A couple and their four children are already in Egypt and within 72 hours they will leave for Albania, said the Albanian Foreign Minister, Ilgi Hasani.
" Finally, Eiadi, his wife and their four minor children left Gaza and will join the rest of the family who arrived in Albania at the beginning of this month," Hasani wrote in X.
He adds that the operation to evacuate this family was challenging, but was achieved thanks to the cooperation of Albanian diplomats with the Foreign Ministries of Israel and Egypt.
So far, 11 people have been evacuated from the Gaza Strip. Earlier, the ambassador of Albania in Israel, Meri Kumbe, stated that there is no information about Albanian citizens in Gaza, but it was these citizens who contacted the embassies in Israel and Egypt to ask for help.
