The Gjirokastra court has sentenced the former head of the Gjirokastra Cadastre, Florian Taçi, to 6 years in prison.
His two associates Alban Memishaj and Julian Nakuçi were also convicted.
Taçi is accused of forgery, fraud and abuse of office.
He was arrested on February 28 of this year, where he was placed under house arrest, where he has been for 7 months. Due to the shortened trial, his sentence is reduced to 4 years and 6 months of imprisonment.
